This website is operated by The Specialist Travel Consultancy Ltd, trading as STC Escapes ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered office is Bank Chambers, 65–67 High Street, Exeter, Devon, EX4 3DT. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What data we collect
When you use our enquiry form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your name and email address;
- Your travel preferences (destination interest, who is travelling); and
- Any details you include in your message, such as dates, budget or requirements.
If your enquiry progresses to a booking, we will collect further information necessary to arrange your trip (for example, traveller names, dates of birth, passport details and payment information). This will be covered by our booking process.
If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending occasional updates and trip inspiration. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we will stop sending them.
3. How we use your data, and our lawful basis
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or itinerary, and administer any resulting booking. Our lawful basis for handling enquiry data is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where a booking is made, the performance of our contract with you.
4. Who we share it with
Your enquiry is submitted through our website host, Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf. We use trusted suppliers (such as airlines, accommodation providers and ground operators) to fulfil bookings, and share only the information necessary to do so. We do not sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for retention period TBC and booking records for as long as required to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights including access to your data, correction, erasure, and objection to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
