1. Your contract
Bookings are made with The Specialist Travel Consultancy Ltd, trading as STC Escapes, registered office Bank Chambers, 65–67 High Street, Exeter, Devon, EX4 3DT. A contract exists once we issue a written confirmation. These conditions, together with your confirmation, form the basis of your contract.
2. Financial protection (ATOL)
We hold Air Travel Organiser's Licence number 11054, issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. When you buy an ATOL protected flight-inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong. For more information visit atol.org.uk.
3. Deposit and payment
To confirm your booking, a deposit of amount / % TBC is required. The balance is due no. of days before departure TBC. If the balance is not paid on time we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.
4. Prices
Prices are confirmed at the time of booking. Our policy on any surcharges or price changes is TBC.
5. Changes or cancellation by you
If you wish to change or cancel your booking, the following charges apply: cancellation charge scale TBC. Requests must be made in writing.
6. Changes or cancellation by us
We plan arrangements well in advance and rarely make changes, but occasionally must. Our obligations where we make a significant change or cancel, including your entitlement to a refund or alternative, follow the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
7. Travel insurance
Adequate travel insurance is a condition of booking / strongly recommended — confirm which. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy provides suitable cover for your party and activities.
8. Passports, visas and health
It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport and any required visas, and to meet the health and entry requirements for your destination. We will provide general guidance but cannot accept responsibility if you are refused entry or travel because these requirements are not met.
9. Our liability
Our liability to you is as set out under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Detailed liability wording TBC — legal review required.
10. Complaints
If a problem arises during your trip, please tell us or our supplier immediately so we can help. If it cannot be resolved at the time, contact us at complaints contact TBC within TBC days of returning.
11. Law and jurisdiction
These conditions and your booking are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
