If you've found your way here, chances are you're thinking about a trip for your family — and you'd like it to be a good one, planned with a bit more care than a website booking form and a fixed package can offer. That's exactly why we exist, so it feels right to start with a proper introduction.
What we do
We design small-group family holidays, built around your family rather than squeezed into a template. That means we start with you — the ages of everyone travelling, what you're hoping to see and do, how much you want packed in versus how much you want to slow down — and shape a trip to fit. Whether it's temples and bullet trains in Japan, wildlife and rainforest in Costa Rica, or an easier week of island-hopping in Greece, the itinerary is put together for your family specifically.
How we do it
The short version: a real person plans your trip. There's no algorithm quietly assembling a package in the background. When you get in touch, you'll speak to someone on our team who'll listen to what you're after and come back with ideas and a tailored itinerary. From there we handle the detail — the routing, the accommodation, the pacing, the things that are easy to get wrong and quietly make or break a family holiday.
And because arranging things properly matters, every trip comes with the reassurance you'd want. STC Escapes is a trading name of The Specialist Travel Consultancy Ltd, and we hold ATOL 11054 — so flight-inclusive holidays booked with us are financially protected.
Why we do it
STC Escapes didn't appear out of nowhere. Our parent company has been organising carefully-planned, responsible adventures since 2006, and over the years the families of the people we travelled with kept asking the same thing: could we plan something for them too? Something smaller and more personal, built for a family rather than a group. STC Escapes is our answer to that — the same experience and the same care, turned towards family travel.
Travelling responsibly has been part of how we work from the very beginning, and that hasn't changed. We care about the places we visit and the people who live there, and we plan trips that reflect that.
